Sharpy’s Rod & Custom was founded in 1994 by Marc Sharp as a collision shop in Denver, built on hands-on experience and a commitment to doing the job right.
Marc’s father, Gary Sharp—a Colorado native—was in the industry since 1960 in the Denver area, and Marc grew up in a body shop learning the trade alongside him. Today, Marc works with his son Beau—making this a true 3-generation family operation built on experience and consistency.
Over time, we expanded beyond collision repair and began specializing in hot rod restoration in 2005, giving us the ability to handle both modern repairs and custom builds under one roof.
We are I-CAR Certified and PPG Master Certified, which means every repair and finish follows proven industry standards for safety, durability, and appearance.
Our team of experienced technicians works closely together on every project, from dent repair and structural correction to paint and full restorations.

Owner
Marc Sharp, owner of Sharpy’s Rod & Custom, has been in business since 1994, continuing a family legacy that began with his father in 1960 in the Denver area. Born in 1963, Marc grew up in a body shop, starting with model hot rods as a kid and working on real vehicles by the age of 15. Today, he works alongside his son Beau, representing three generations of experience in auto body, paint, and custom work throughout the Denver Metro Area. With nearly 70 years of combined professional experience between him and Beau, Marc approaches every project with a detailed eye and a commitment to doing the job right. Along with his wife Michelle, he takes pride in building a business focused on quality craftsmanship and looks forward to working on each customer’s project.
Beau Sharp
Co-Owner
Beau Sharp grew up in Northglenn, Colorado, surrounded by classic cars and a family deeply rooted in the auto body industry. From a young age, he developed an appreciation for the trade, learning the importance of doing things the right way and taking pride in quality work. Today, Beau brings that same mindset into every project, focusing on precision, consistency, and attention to detail. Outside of the shop, he enjoys dirt bike riding, fishing, roller and ice hockey, and supporting local Colorado sports teams. His passion for both the craft and the lifestyle continues to shape his role in the family business.
